Ok im not attempting to create a mutiny or screw the pooch, ive already paid my $50 and my intentions are for the better.
So as of this typing we have 9 guys paid into the pot. Which is good and i believe the payments will move fast as we get closer to 32. I am a fan of the democratic process with clear choices for the people at risk. Currently only a 3rd of the league has skin in the game and theres no grantee the other 2/3rds will be the guys who eventually anty up. We have only had 28 guys that have logged into the MFL site, and 9 of those havent logged in a week or more. I have felt it was too early to decide the type of draft to perform and now that it looks like including rooks in the auction will win out in the poll the most reasonable time to run that vet+rook draft is no sooner then June 1st. Thats 5+ months from now btw and a real activity killer even in a money league.
Making this a dynasty is the clear choice and i believe that would win out in a vote +99% of the time. I do believe that options should be laid out with time frames that make sense to be voted on as packages. What i hope is debated, "peacefully", is how these packages should look. Because, to me, there is without a doubt if we want this league to be as long running as we would like, there needs to be a baseline plan for the startup. Invariably there will be drop outs and the bigger the league, the harder it is to fill slots.

Snake vet draft (Sportrac salaries), reverse the order for the rook draft.
Start snake ASAP/time after the last payment.
Rook draft June 1st.

Auction vet draft ASAP/time after the last payment.
Lock the auction down, Rook draft June 1st, lowest team salary = 1.01, tie breakers randomized

Auction vet draft ASAP/time after the last payment.
Include 1st round picks in the draft, randomize the rookie order for rounds 2-5

Snake Vet draft with a 3rd round reversal. So the guy with the first pick would go 1.01, 2.32, 3.32 and then the snake would continue. Create a random order, let teams choose where they draft based on who is first in that random order.
If you have a different package great. I just think we need to keep in perspective of actual real life time and the attention spans of our owners that feed into the health of a startup. I had to say it, not looking for hate, only looking to maximize the success of the league as a whole.
