Disapprove 1.5 - 3.5 Lopsided and not properly compensated. I vote strictly on if it's fair trade value. I understand claiming cap issues but by the end everyone will have cap issues (spent the available cap) so it doesn't fly with me. I think I'm consistent in this approach. Owners can drop players after draft to clear cap or make a fair trade. In the end I don't think It's my responsibility to continue to satisfy a owners current cap concern. Especially if I think it makes the cap strapped team even weaker. It needs to be fair too. Note to owners during auction - if you accidentally bid on a player notify the commish immediately so he can make the adjustment.

Texans in the bylaws there are mandatory rookie salaries. 13 mil is the amount to have the first position in the draft, and the 6 mil is the mandatory salary you have to pay whichever rookie is picked first overall. And goddamit no Vikings no you don't understand and didn't listen to a word we've said. Can we vote him out of the DOT? Yeah I'm not on DOT. Too bad too sad, Saints. You really know how to call people out though, I'll give you that.

Don't be mad at myself I am one vote. Rework the deal and try again man, nothing to throw the league out for. I really don't understand why people get so offended over vetoes, if there wasn't a voting system of some sort, this league simply would not exist after a year, trust me on that..

I really don't understand why people get so offended over vetoes, if there wasn't a voting system of some sort, this league simply would not exist after a year, trust me on that.. Not going to rework trade.I went after the 1.1 knowing I would probably trade it.This is a 32 team salary cap dynasty league thats a little different from a 12 team league.I knew that if I was going to trade the pick it would have to be during the auction because thats when teams would have flexibility under the cap to trade it.I would have been able to add the 9th ranked LB last year plus 2 to 3 other players to my team.In other words I would have been able to help my team just like you helped your team with the MJD 1.6 for 2.1 and 3.2 which is the 33rd and 65th pick not really much going to be there for the other team but that trade was ok.As for the longevity of this league I just don't see it not the way its being run now you can trust me on that. I've been playing for over 20 years and when I see a league where things are not being run equitably I don't see much chance for survival especially when the unequal aspects of the league are in the commishs favor. So now with your trade and the veto of mine your team has great advantage over mine and we are in the same division. As far as trades go I believe like many others that it is a big part of the game and if its not collusion then all trades should be allowed. You won't hear from me again on this or any other subject.

I know there's talk like it's officially been cancelled. But if the vote is open still.
I approve 2.5/3.5 I agree with unless there's collusion we shouldn't have any say on how other people run their team. Saints has very kindly posted a link in the 'dot' folder, I suggest all dot members vote on whether to adopt that system.

I am with jags here. Can't believe people are vetoing trades that have obvious benefit to both teams. Cap space is absolutely a major factor in a league like this. I would approve if resubmitted. 3.5/3.5. I say going forward it takes a high level of stink for me to veto a trade two owners have agreed to.
I totally get revenge vetoes though. Treat others as they have treated you.

Vote is still open at (3.5-3.5). Half a vote to pass and 1.5 vote to veto as i see it from this point.

Honestly it would be best for your team not to make this trade, your trading the 1.1 for the 9th LB, you could get a much better player/players. Obviously I am in collusion with the rest of the league against you because I make all of the votes… I may have hate vetoed your trade because your partner went after mine that way, but in the same token my trade partner made an approval on this one, so we are standing the same ground from that aspect… In the end this is a horrible trade I feel, mine was too, I will be the first to admit it, but right now during the auction like I have said before a few times, money talks right now. The Cardinals are getting an absolute steal right here and will control the top 2 picks of the draft, which is fine. By all means be butthurt because other GMs vetoed your trade, it is a part of this league, to say you are not willing to rework the deal a little bit says a lot about the integrity of yourself and the Dolphins organization here. I don't think I've ever seen anyone this upset about a veto in my life, and on a bad trade… I don't think I have seen a GM approve mine, but veto yours, so please, tell me more about my collusive ties… Ya know I try to be nice to everyone, but when I am getting attacked like this I feel I have to say something, and for that I do apologize, but come on man...

This should not be approved and we all know it. Determining collusion is not the focus of the DOT. Fair trades is the focus. Collusion is and always will be something that a commissioner(s) working with MFL administrators determine. 1.1 is worth much more so be thankful for the veto's.

What is fair? Didn't anyone notice 2 first round picks have been flat out waived already for start up auction money. This should tell you how people value the cap space and ability to get quality players in a start up auction. This is not a mature several year old league where yeah it would be a crazy trade. In this instance with the start up draft going on and the obviously inflated salary of the pick it is easy to understand.
Sorry I really think you guys are wrong to veto. I think that is obvious.
