This quote is awesome by the way:
"Would anyone vetoing the trade be actually willing to step up and make a better offer for the Dolphins pick? If it is such an unbalanced trade shouldn't a bunch of guys be jumping at it? If not how can you veto it?"
I'd like to hear the opinions of those that vetoed on this statement. What will you give up for the 13M 1.1?

Guys its been over 50 hours since this trade was proposed player pool is shrinking.I appreciate the support that I received from some of you thanks. My real concern now is if this league can be run fairly looking at the two trades one passes and the other doesn't makes me wonder.

This still hasn't actually failed.
The current voting is 3.5/4.5
Bylaws state it requires either 4 to pass or 5 to veto.
Johnny have you voted?

If you can't see that voting a fair trade reduces collusion and keeps the league competitive I can't help you. All you have to do is look at the lopsided trade involving MJD and 1.6 (MJD starter + 1.6} and see how the balance of power shifted needlessly. Lets just agree that we have different opinions on this and stop the foul mouth attacks by Saints and other brow beaters. I personally would not engage in trades with them because I am aware that they will go on and on about it if it's doesn't go their way. It most definitely would not be benefitting me.
I'd ask that the commissioner make a declaration that hence forth, all DOT votes will be made without explanation. Simply post the trade and vote on it. The poor foul mouth delusional banter on how a veto should be carried out is at it's core Buffoonery. All this banter is going to evolve in "pay back" voting such as when Seattle red bid my LB to pay me back after the commish warning against it. I have no doubt that the same people brow beating here would do the same during trade voting. I'm seriously concerned about what the future holds for the DOT members and the league because of the attacks past and present.

I have not attacked or browbeat anyone.I just want to know why a trade where I would have gained 3 starters ( that would have avg 45-50 points a game for me) for one draft pick was turned down when the one mentioned above is ok.

You are asking questions that require a crystal ball. The trade that is on the table is lopsided. Owners don't have to vote on this trade for it to fail. Most people don't want to put up with the backlash. After 30+ hours without a decision, it may be time to kill this trade and start over.

That is what I want to know remembering that this is not a 12 team redraft league why this trade is viewed as so lopsided.Ok lets say I do draft Watkins and he does as well the 5th ranked WR last year which was Calvin Johnson he would avg 22.8 points a game. Now with my trade I would get the points of the 9th ranked LB 16.12 a game and the points of 2 more starters probably both LBs.Lets golow and say the LBs only avg 10 points a game each thats 36 points as compared to 22 doesn't seem all that one sided.

I approve if it even matters
It's not just 1.01 for Freeman, it's 1.01 for Freeman plus whatever the Phins get with the extra 6 million. Plenty of value left to make things evener than it first appears.
